The second Local Shop Campaign Business Awards evening were held in February 2010 at the Tewkesbury Park Hotel. Retailers "raised their game" by participating in the three awards that were up for grabs.
Outstanding Customer Service Award 2010
Shoppers were asked to nominate the store where they received great customer service. The shops who received the most nominations were then mystery shopped and the deserving winners were:-

Retailer of the Year Award 2010
This award recognises the retailer who has done the most to support their local high street. This could be through supporting the local Chamber of Trade or Business Forum and the winner of this award is the retailer who received the most nominations from their colleague retailers. Retailers were provided with a guide to help in setting up a "commercial" window displays. A standard checklist was used to judge over 80 retailers and the deserving winners were:-

Towards the end of 2008, the Local Shop Campaign invited the public to nominate their favourite businesses in a variety of categories.
In conjunction with each communities business organisation (Tewkesbury Chamber of Commerce, Winchcombe Business Forum and Bishops Cleeve Chamber of Commerce) we used the nominations as a basis for a judging process which took place in December 2008. Last year's winners were:
